The Nets’ new ruse about Harden and KD

James Harden and Kevin Durant literally carry the Nets on their shoulders, and that can cause concern regarding their health. Suddenly, Blacks and Whites have adopted a new strategy to manage their playing time! It was Steve Nash who made the revelation recently.

Who would have thought that this meeting between Brooklyn and Detroit would be the scene of fireworks? This is however what happened, on the side of the Little Caesar’s Arena. The show was presented to fans by a Absolutely exceptional Kevin Durant, who stacked several records. His 51 points were just too much to overcome for the Pistons, who suffered a 116-104 loss to the leader East.

Once again, the Slim Reaper has been on all fronts, spending almost 42 minutes on the floors. A point that has not failed to speak in recent days, since some fear that he is pulling too much on the rope … even if he had the right to a game of rest recently, against the Rockets. Speaking of absence, a big name was missing in Michigan: James Harden.

However, the rear was not suffering from any injury, but was simply ordered to sit down and take a blow. It was his coach Steve Nash who revealed it to the NY Post before the meeting, explaining that he applied this strategy for his two leaders. The idea is to preserve them in turn, in order to have at least one of the costs on the field in each match. And The Beard seems to have bought into the idea:

He was open to the idea when I told him about it. He’s had a series of tough games lately, and we’re going to try to use a few games to rest these guys here and there. And luckily, it was open enough that it was that particular night.

When you know how much blacks and whites rely on these two in the absence of Kyrie Irving, that’s probably not a bad idea. With 19 wins for 8 losses, the Nets are off to a good start, but the Eastern Conference is particularly strong this season. Losing one of them would therefore be very annoying for the franchise, which has a lot of pressure on its shoulders. Big Three or not, the title is almost compulsory for the superteam …

In turn, KD and Harden will therefore have the right to a period of rest. Probably necessary as the campaign progresses, in order to have them at their best when it comes to the playoffs!
