Giusto Pellanera has left us. President Petrucci’s condolences.

107 games in Azzurro (582 points) and protagonist in Serie A from 1958 to 1973 with Virtus Bologna, Snaidero Udine and Fortitudo Bologna. Giusto Corrado Pellanera, one of the players who contributed to the affirmation of Italian basketball as a popular sport, left us at the age of 86.

To the Pellanera family, the affectionate embrace and condolences of FIP president Giovanni Petrucci and of all Italian basketball.

As an Azzurro player he took part in two editions of the Olympic Games (Tokyo 1964 and Mexico City 1968), two World Cups (Brazil 1963 and Uruguay 1967) and two European Championships (Poland 1963 and USSR 1965). He won the Mediterranean Games in Naples in 1963 and the first edition of the European Military Championships in the same year in Paris.
