Metro and Metrobús of CdMx will have special service for Half Marathon

Write it down! Transportation systems Metro and Metrobús of the City of Mexico announced that tomorrow they will operate with special schedules and routes, on the occasion of the BBVA 2021 Half Marathon in the country’s capital.

This because the 21 kilometer race It will start at 06:50 am and will go through one of the capital’s main roads. We tell you how both transports will operate.

CdMx Metro

In an information card, the Metro indicated that in support of the Half Marathon runners the Lines 1, 2 and 3 will operate with special hours, which will be from 05:00 to 24:00.

In addition to the participants mayn access for free by the stations of the referred lines, by presenting the number that accredits them as runners in the event.

While in the rest of the active lines of the network, the service will be in the established schedule for Sundays, which is from 7:00 to 24:00 hours.

Metrobús

The transportation system reported that lines 1, 4 and 7 will operate in circuits and with special hours.

Line 1

  • Hours from 06:00 to 7:30.
  • Circuits from Indios Verdes to Plaza de la República (north section) and from El Caminero to Insurgentes (south section).
  • No service at stations: Reforma, Hamburgo and Buenavista II.

Line 4

  • Hours from 06:00 to 7:30.
  • Route: leaving Buenavista, detours will be made on both routes, resuming your usual route in Hidalgo for the north route and Juárez for the south route.
  • Without service in: Cuauhtémoc Delegation, Mexico Tenochtitlán, San Carlos Museum, Republic Square, Glorieta de Colón, Public and Vocational Defender’s Office 5.

Line 7

  • Hours from 05:00 to 11:00 hours.
  • Indios Verdes Circuits to Glorieta Cuitláhuac.
  • No service from Garibaldi to Campo Marte.

After the conclusion of the Half Marathon, the Parade for Police Day will begin at 10:00, so the Balderas, Hidalgo and Mina stations on Line 3 will remain closed.

Lines 2, 5 and 6 will operate normally. All routes will return to normal operation at the end of scheduled events.
