The Federation has announced the change of dates after the schoolboys have identified three positives for Covid
The Acunsa Gipuzkoa Basket-Movistar Estudiantes that was going to be played tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. in Illunbe has been postponed due to the infection of three members of the collegiate team in Covid-19. The first one was known yesterday and today, before leaving for San Sebastián, two more have left.
According to the protocol of the Federation, more than two positives is considered an outbreak in the team, so the training sessions and scheduled games have to be suspended. The new date of the meeting will be announced shortly.
With this suspension, there are now five games that will not be played on the thirteenth day of the LEB Oro. Only Granada-Juaristi, Palma-Almansa and Cáceres-Castellón will be played.
It so happens that last season Estudiantes, with a different squad than this year, also had to postpone their January visit to Illunbe due to another outbreak in the team.
