Marco Pinto from Bercia was able to win the bronze medal in the Spanish Judo Championship held last Saturday, December 4. The young man belongs to the Blume de Ponferrada Judo Club and participated in the cadet category.
For their part, the other two Bercianos who were also fighting for a medal, Hugo González and Beatriz Fernández, failed to be among the first.
In the Children’s category Hugo González at +66 kg I can’t fight for the medals. In Cadet Beatriz Fernández in + 70kg did not go beyond the first round when she was injured in the combat. From the club “we are proud of the work of all of them and we will continue working to improve the training of the club’s students and to continue to improve,” they explain.
