A 19-year-old young man was very violently attacked in Talence, near Bordeaux (Gironde), on the night of Monday to Tuesday. The victim was stabbed and allegedly hit with a baseball bat in the face. She was evacuated to hospital with a life-threatening prognosis.
The emergency services were alerted around 12:30 am. A young man of 19, seriously injured, had just taken refuge in the common parts of a building, rue Salvadore-Allende in Talence.
The firefighters quickly took charge of the victim, who presented stab wounds. The latter had been hit twice in the thorax, as well as in the armpit. She was also allegedly beaten in the face, including with a baseball bat, and had fractured fingers according to a source close to the investigation. The young man was transported to the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux, when his life was in danger.
According to the first elements, he fled his attackers while he was attacked and entered this building. He knocked on doors asking for help. One of the residents alerted the emergency services and the police.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the judicial police.
