Remarkable transfer news by The newspapaer. Sports Manager of KAA Gent Tim Matthys starts working at RSC Anderlecht. He is thus reunited with Peter Verbeke.
Ex-player Matthys thus leaves KAA Gent for Anderlecht. In 2019 he became chief scout of KV Mechelen and after a few months he started working at KAA Gent to function in the team of Michel Louwagie and Peter Verbeke. After Verbeke left, Matthys became Sports Manager at KAA Gent.
Now he is reunited with Verbeke at purple wine. For KAA Gent, the scouting department has to be changed again. First there was the departure of Verbeke to Anderlecht and then scouts Tim Taveirne and David Smolders went to OHL. Now it is Matthys’ turn.
