103 seniors from Viviez (65 years and over) participated in the meal organized by the municipality. They were able to discover the Jacques Rey space completely revamped, with its entertainment room, where they ate, and the gym which hosts archery and pétanque. “This was a complicated site because of the covid and a large budget, ie 1.5 million euros of work. But we now have a pleasant space, with the latest insulation and safety standards”, specified the Mayor Jean-Louis Denoit.
The meal was prepared by the Chemin de Saint-Jacques restaurant, managed by Aurélien Gaillac, in Noailhac. The orchestra Jo Bernard and its singer provided entertainment, as did the Choir of Viviez. The choristers appreciated having been called for this very nice relaxing day.
It has been announced that from 2022, the polling stations will be grouped together within the Jacques Rey space for the elections. There will always be an office 1 and an office 2 but they will be on the same site to facilitate organization.
