DRC Judo Team Gears Up for African Championship in Cairo

Eight Leopards judokas represent the DRC at the African Championship of their specialty, from April 25 to 28, in Cairo (Egypt).

The DRC delegation is made up of nine people: eight senior judokas (five men and three women) and a coach.

During these 4 days, at least 94 athletes (49 men and 45 women) from 33 different countries on the continent will compete on Egyptian soil.

The challenge is to validate their tickets for the final phase of the Olympic Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024, in Paris, France.

The Judo Leopards took part, from April 6 to 7, in the Luanda Open (Angola), where they won four medals (two silver and two bronze).
