The ASCBB beat Chauny à la Hotoie and finally put an end to their losing streak.
From the start, the Amiens returned to their match well and took the lead, in particular thanks to numerous interceptions. (19-11). But the ASCBB relaxes at the end of the quarter and the Chaunois get back to the score one minute from the end (21-21). The Samarians still managed to lead 26-21 at the end of the first quarter.
During the second quarter the locals suffer but still manage to take up to 10 points in advance (33-23) after three minutes of play. But the many faults of Frédéric Domon’s men allow the visitors to pick up at 3 points 22 seconds before the break (43-40). Following a fault on the buzzer shoot, the locals get three shots that allow them to lead 46 to 40 at halftime.
The Amiénois come back well from the break and even confirm their lead (59-45). The Axonians never manage to get back to the front despite attempts to close the gap (65-61). Thereby, ASCBB still leads at the end of the third quarter (71-64).
Once again the locals started the quarter off very strongly and left no chance for Chauny to come back to the match, throughout the period, the Samarians keep ten points in advance and win this match 98-89.
