Venezuelan ranger Avisaíl García intends to reject the mutual option in his contract with the Brewers, according to a report by MLB Network correspondent Jon Heyman.
Garcia, 30, initially signed a two-year pact with Milwaukee that had an option for 2022, but it would become a mutual option based on plate appearances over the course of the last two seasons.

The criollo got the determined at-bats and reached personal records with 29 home runs – which also led the team – and 86 RBIs.
