UAEM athletes obtain bronze medals in National Badminton Championship

As happened in most sports jousts, the players of the Autonomous Mexiquense adapted to the conditions of the sanitary confinement so they sometimes connected remotely to train.

By taking advantage of technologies and performing some of their training online due to the restrictions of the pandemic, athletes from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico achieved bronze medals in the 2021 National Badminton Championship in the men’s and mixed couples modalities. sports fair held this weekend in the State of San Luis Potosí.

The Auriverdes players from the Faculty of Accounting and Administration, José Miguel Arreola Galindo and from the Faculty of Geography, Arturo Moreno Cedillo, as well as from the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences, Verónica Montero Enríquez and from the Faculty of Economics, Marco Antonio Mora Pichardo, represented the Autonomous Mexiquense and were led by coach Victoria Montero Enríquez

As happened in most sports jousts, the players of the Autonomous Mexiquense adapted to the conditions of the sanitary confinement so they sometimes connected remotely to train and when they had the opportunity, they went to the UAEM sports facilities to be prepared for the sports contest organized by the National Council of Student Sports.

The university athletes had the support provided by the Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, led by Mónica Marina Mondragón Ixtlahuac, as well as by her coach, Victoria Montero Enríquez.

The auriverde delegation was satisfied with the results obtained and await next competitions to raise the name of the Highest House of Studies in Mexico.

It is worth mentioning that in the team modality, the university representative obtained the fourth place as part of the National Badminton Championship.
