The website of the specialist magazine “kicker” was not available on Saturday afternoon. Who on “kicker.de” the results of the Bundesliga-I wanted to check matchdays, only got an error message.
“502 ERROR – The request could not be satisfied”, which means something like: “The request could not be answered”, was one of the different error messages. The error numbers 504 and 404 were also displayed to users who otherwise only saw a white background.

At around 4.30 p.m., the kicker reported on Twitter. “Dear kicker community, unfortunately we are currently not able to provide you with the latest football information via our app and website as usual, as we are struggling with considerable technical problems. The responsible colleagues are working flat out on a solution,” said the trade magazine.
But also at the beginning of the Saturday night game between Hertha BSC and Borussia Monchengladbach at 6.30 p.m. the malfunction had not yet been resolved. Up to 4,000 users reported a problem with the website on the “allestören.de” portal. The site was only accessible again at around 6:50 p.m.
The kicker was unable to provide any information on the reason for the failure late on Saturday evening when asked by t-online.
