The excitement of the postseason is here. In the return of a long calendar, Major League Baseball (MLB) comes to October for the playoffs 2021 in which the known format returns in recent years after the expansion last season. After the expansion of classified teams during the past season, the office of the Big leagues together with the players’ union they return to the traditional format of recent years with five teams classified per circuit respecting the Collective Bargaining Agreement signed by both parties in 2016 and which expires once this season ends.
The second best places in each division are played the season in a single game: the Wild Card Game. The winner will advance to the Serie Divisional, where the leaders of each division are already installed, a commitment that is agreed to the best of five possible games and that will throw the two teams that play the Championship Series in each league.
