Indian Wells 2021: The victories of Ramos and Pedro Martnez put the Spaniards at eight in the second round

ESpanish men’s tennis will be widely represented in the second round of the Indian Wells 1,000 Masters, the penultimate tournament of the category to be held in the Californian desert.

A Carlos Alcaraz. Pablo Carreo and Roberto Bautista, exempted from the initial round as seeded, have been joined Carlos Taberner, Alejandro Davidovich, Roberto Carballs, Pedro Martnez and Albert Ramos.

These last two won the ticket yesterday after defeating Roberto Marcora (6-4 and 6-0) and Lorenzo Musetti (6-1 and 6-3), respectively.

This Saturday, Taberner, Carballs, Bautista and Davidovich will look to be the first to sneak into the third round. They will not have it easy because their rivals are Andrey Rublev (4), Casper Ruud (6), Guido Pella and Lloyd Harris (26).
