Lucien Favre is one of the candidates to become Newcastle United’s new coach, but the Frenchman does not have a great relationship with Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin.
When Saint-Maximin still played at Nice under Favre, the trainer was not a big fan of the winger. After a training session, the French trainer once demanded from the board that Maximin be sold because he has no tactical insight.
Favre was still head coach of Borussia Dortmund until 2020, but he was fired there after disappointing results.
