Bayern started energetically and took the lead within four minutes via Robert Lewandowski. The Pole also made the 0-2 after half an hour. Then it went fast, because seven minutes later it was 0-5. Thomas Müller and Serge Gnabry (twice) provided the goals.
Leverkusen – with Jeremie Frimpong and Mitchel Bakker in the base – remained on his feet after the break. Patrik Schick even saved the honor for the home team, who, despite the heavy defeat, remains third in the Bundesliga. Bayern lead by one point more than Borussia Dortmund.
Sevilla next to Atlético and Real after victory
Sevilla won 0-1 on a visit to Celta de Vigo. Rafa Mir scored the only goal of the match ten minutes after the break.
With the win, Sevilla, like Atéltico and Real Madrid, comes to 17 points from 8 games. Real Sociedad is the leader in La Liga with 20 points, but has played one more game.
Karim Rekik was in the starting line-up at Sevilla. Oussama Idrissi remained on the bench for the entire match.
Internationals Koopmeiners and De Roon successful with Atalanta
Atalanta has achieved the biggest win of the season in the Italian football league. Empoli was defeated: 1-4.
Orange internationals Teun Koopmeiners and Marten de Roon had a basic place at Atalanta in midfield. Both players did not play in the past international matches against Latvia and Gibraltar. De Roon even had to settle for a place in the stands against Gibraltar.
Josip Ilic scored two goals for Atalanta, but also missed a penalty.
Atalanta has risen to joint fifth place due to the win.
Nice loses to low flyer Troyes
Mama Baldé scored the only goal of the afternoon.
The Dutch tinted OGC Nice has missed the opportunity to climb to second place in Ligue 1. The team of coach Christophe Galtier lost 1-0 to the low-ranking Troyes.
The only goal of the game came early. Mama Baldé was accurate in the fourth minute. He fired convincingly after a smooth attack.
The Dutch Pablo Rosario and Calvin Stengs had a base place at Nice, just like former Ajax player Kasper Dolberg. Justin Kluivert was still missing with an injury.
Nice now remains third with 16 points from nine matches.
Two penalty kicks don’t help Anderlecht win
Anderlecht did not get further than a 2-2 draw at STVV, the football club from Sint-Truiden, on Sunday. Coach Vincent Kompany’s team took the lead twice through a penalty that was used, saw the home team score in between and equalize in the fourth minute of extra time. This means that the fallen top club remains in the middle of the Belgian competition.
Shortly after the break, Lior Refaelov used the first penalty for the team in which Wesley Hoedt and Joshua Zirkzee had a base place. Mory Konaté equalized not much later, after which Sergio Gómez was able to make it 2-1 again 12 minutes before the end from 11 meters. Zirkzee had meanwhile been taken to the side.
The win seemed to be in for the guests from Brussels, until Toni Leistner made it 2-2 deep in injury time.
