Ballon d’Or: fuss about alleged result – football

Real or fake?

A photo has surfaced online allegedly showing the final ranking for this year’s Ballon d’Or. At the top: Bayern star Robert Lewandowski (33)!

The picture is said to come from “France Football”, the newspaper awards the prestigious award every year, it is dated October 25th.

If the photo was real, Lewandowski would have won the world’s best player with 627 points. Second is Lionel Messi (34), who would miss his seventh title. Third would be Karim Benzema from Real Madrid (526 votes).

This is followed by Mohamed Salah from Liverpool FC (412 votes), Jorghinho (Chelsea FC / 197 votes), Kylian Mbappé (PSG / 136 votes), N’Golo Kanté (Chelsea FC / 97 votes) and Erling Haaland (BVB / 78 votes) .

There is heated debate on the Internet as to whether the document can really be genuine. The fans won’t be sure until November 29th, when the prize will be awarded in a festive ceremony in Paris.

But one thing is just as certain: Lewandowski would be a deserved winner. The Bayern star was a big favorite for the coveted trophy last year. The title was not awarded because of the corona pandemic.
