The Azerbaijan team won three more medals at the Veterans Judo World Championships in Lisbon.
According to AZERTAC, Mubariz Jafarov (M6, 81 kg) won silver. Mushfig Jafarov (M5, 73 kg) and Azer Asgarov (M5, +100 kg) won bronze. This means that the number of medals won by our judokas has reached 5.
Previously, Babek Hajiyev (M4, 60 kg) defeated all of his opponents and took gold with it. Tural Safguliyev (M1, 100 kg) took bronze.
15 judokas from Azerbaijan fight. More than 350 athletes from 43 countries take part in the world championships.
