The Spanish national coach has called up 17-year-old FC Barcelona midfielder Gavi for the final round of the Nations League.
The talent from the Catalan youth academy will receive a lot of playing time from trainer Ronald Koeman this season. After four games in La Liga and two substitutes in the Champions League, Gavi can already report to the national team.
Spain will play against European champions Italy in the semi-finals of the Nations League in Milan next Wednesday. A day later, the Red Devils and world champions France face each other in Turin.
