PAblo Andjar made it to the third round of the US Open after beating German Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4, 6-3 and 6-1 in just two hours and five minutes of action, on court 9. The veteran Spanish tennis player was much more consistent with his shots from the back of the court and his victory was the fourth he has achieved against Kohlschreiber, number 115 in the world, in six matches.

“I felt very good with my tennis, aggressive, solid from the back of the court and I think that at all times I kept control of the game,” said Andjar, 35 years old. “I know my opponent very well and I knew that I had to be aggressive to force him to make mistakes.”
