The cry of hope of Friba first Afghan at the Olympics: “We will not remain in the dark”

Lthe first time I ran away from the Taliban I was less than ten years old, I was with my whole family and I only remember the fear, the discomfort right down to the bone ». Friba Rezayee was the first Afghan in the Olympics and that discomfort still feels today, in front of her devastated country. She now lives in Vancouver and tries to remain the guide she became at the 2004 Games.
