But his name will continue to be in the MotoGP paddock, especially with the presence of his racing team in the highest class in MotoGP 2022.

The VR46 Team, which will most likely be sponsored by Aramco, will debut in MotoGP next season as a satellite Ducati team.

The driver is Luca Marini who is likely to be reunited with Marco Bezzecchi who is currently competing in the Moto2 class.

With the debut of the VR46 Team with Ducati, it will mark the second collaboration between The Doctor and the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale, Italy.

Previously, Rossi had defended Ducati in the 2011-2012 period, but he could not perform optimally and eventually returned to Yamaha.
