Nicolas Batum joins Tony Parker and Antoine Griezmann!

Although he signed a real renaissance last year in the NBA and is heading towards several more years of career in the United States, Nicolas Batum is always careful to diversify his activities. This Friday, we learned that he was embarking on a new project, thus following in the footsteps of a certain Tony Parker.

Longtime friends, Nicolas Batum and Tony Parker have seen their paths cross on numerous occasions over the years. In addition to their common adventure with the French team, of course, the two men were teammates for the Hornets for a season, and are both partners in the ASVEL front office in Lyon.

To this non-exhaustive list, we can now add … horses! A few months after TP who became the owner of racehorses, Batman followed suit. This is what Paris-Turf revealed in a press release which also tells us that black and garnet are the colors chosen by the Clipper for his frame:

Besides Tony Parker, several athletes have become owners of galloping horses in recent years. We think for example of Antoine Griezmann, great enthusiast, but also of Charles Leclerc, Clément Lenglet, Javier Pastore and many others. For now, TP has been making headlines for his mount’s victories, and we hope Batum will do the same soon.

While waiting for the festivities at the racetrack, the native of Lisieux will focus on the Clippers, whose training camp will begin within ten days. After the great first season under Tyronn Lue, the Californians have only one goal in mind: to join the fight for the ring once again.
