Kenyan Carl “Flash” Tundo wins 2021 Zambia rally

Along with his co-driver Tim Jessop, Carl Tundo, nicknamed “Flash”, won the rally of Zambia, by his full name Sarago Zambia International Motor Rally, contested in Lusaka between September 24th and 26th. The Kenyan driver, from the Minti Motorsport team and driving a VW Polo R5, won in front of the South African Guy Boterril, second with his co-driver Simon Vacy-Lyle, and the Ugandan Yassin Nasser, third with his co-pilot Ali Katumba. Carl “Flash” Tundo confirmed his position as leader in the African Rally Championship standings with 90 points, ahead of Guy Botteril (73 points) and Yasin Nasser (49 points).
