Monterrey, Nuevo León / Com Soc / May 15, 2024.- Coahuila had an outstanding performance within the National Judo Championship “Prof. Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi 2024”, event that took place in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Erica Judith López Muñoz, in the women’s sub 15 64 kilo division, and Emiliano Garduño Moya, in the sub 15 58 kilogram division, achieved gold medals and the endorsement to represent Mexico in the Pan American Junior and Cadet Championships to be held in Montreal , Canada, in November.
The future of Coahuila judo was also present in this national and in the Baby category two medals were won: a gold by Gerardo Daniel Campa Reyes, and a bronze courtesy of Sebastián García Fernández.
In pre-infant, Camila Mata García won a silver medal, while in the Under 13 Children’s category, Marcos López Muñoz took the podium with the bronze medal.
It should be remembered that Coahuila judo is preparing for the Conade 2024 Nationals that will take place in Campeche, where positive results are expected for the state.
