Haaland’s Story Makes Keki’s Opponent, Called Classless

Jakarta

Erling Haaland is one if not the hottest young players at the moment. However, for the Gibraltar international, Haaland is not classy.

Haaland continued to climb after joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in the winter of last year. So far, Haaland has scored 66 goals in 66 appearances across all competitions. At international level, Haaland has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances for Norway since his debut in 2019.

Haaland’s last appearance for Norway was marked by a hat-trick against Gibraltar in a 5-1 win in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. Gibraltar senior player Reece Styche revealed no one in his team wanted a Haaland shirt after the game despite his impressive display.

This is because Haaland has been arrogant in the first meeting of the two teams in Gibraltar in March 2021. Styche, who plays in the seventh division of the Premier League, revealed that Erling Haaland refused a request to swap jerseys from his compatriot, Roy Chipolina. Though the shirt will be given to his son.

“None of us wanted Haaland’s t-shirt, so we turned him down,” Reece Styche said. the Sun. “In March, our captain Roy Chipolina asked Haaland for a shirt when we had a duel in Gibraltar. Norway won 3-0, but Haaland didn’t score, was substituted after an hour and he’s in a bit of a bad mood.”

“After they both finished their television interview, Roy said to him: ‘My little son is a huge fan of yours, would you mind swapping jerseys?’

“Haaland just looks at him, laughs and walks away! He can buy a lot of things, but he can’t buy a class. Maybe the media hype has gotten into his mind. Even though he had the opportunity to make the kid very happy but he refused.”

“So no one wants his shirt in Oslo. Maybe he wants to keep it to mark a hat-trick or give it to a Norwegian fan because it was the first home game with the fans after Covid,” Styche added.
