With his goal against Besiktas in Istanbul, Dortmund’s teenager Jude Bellingham entered the Champions League record books.

Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund set a top class record in his BVB’s 2-1 victory in the Champions League at Besiktas Istanbul. At 18 years and 78 days, he is the youngest player to score in two consecutive appearances.

Bellingham improved the mark of previous record holder Kylian Mbappe, who was 18 years and 85 days old for AS Monaco in 2017 when he scored a goal in two CL games in a row.

At Besiktas, Bellingham used a pass from Thomas Meunier in the first half and tunneled the Besiktas keeper from an acute angle to make it 1-0. He also prepared exemplary for the 2-0 win by Erling Haaland.

Last season, the Englishman had also taken the lead for BVB in his last premier class appearance, the 1: 2 in the quarter-final second leg against Manchester City.
