TV 1861 Burgkunstadt Holds Successful Annual Meeting at ‘Drei Kronen’ Hotel

The annual meeting of TV 1861 Burgkunstadt recently took place in the “Drei Kronen” hotel. 1st Chairman Horst Heuschmann reported on the activities of the past year. The reports from Managing Director Miriam Kügel and the individual departments followed.

The demand for sporting activity has increased. The TVB currently has 475 members. Of these, 67 children and young people and 110 adults actively participate in sports in the various departments.

Aerobic

: The demand here is now so great that in addition to the Monday training, a second training time is available on Tuesday evening in the Obermainhalle.

Judo

: In addition to judo training, we plan to offer a self-defense course here.

To swim

: Bronze and silver lifeguard badges were taken and a first aid course was held. Unfortunately you can only train once a week in Küps as there is no local indoor swimming pool.

Trampoline

: The trampoline department has developed extremely well under Tabea Tröster. Through training three times a week and good support from the coaching team, the level of sport has increased dramatically. Successes are now being recorded at district, state and federal levels. TVB athletes also take part in international competitions. In addition, Burgkunstadt is now also the state base for the double mini trampoline. Five TVB athletes are currently in the Bavarian state and talent selection squad.

Nordic Walking

: The group is quite manageable with six to eight people. New additions are always welcome.

Volleyball

: The indoor training is very well attended. From May onwards, weather permitting, the beach volleyball field will be played outside twice a week. Like last year, we plan to take part in some indoor and beach volleyball tournaments this year.
