“Standard offers supporters who want to pay tribute to our former midfielder Wilfried Van Moer the opportunity to sign a mourning register in the stadium of Sclessin. This will be handed over to the family afterwards,” the club said.
The funeral register is located on the corner of the field between grandstand 2 and grandstand 3 (access via entrance 10 in rue Ernest Solvay). The supporters can write a message in the mourning register on Thursday and Friday, every time from 10 am to 6 pm.
Wilfried Van Moer celebrated his greatest successes on the Belgian fields with Standard, for which he played from 1968 to 1976. The triple Golden Shoe (1966, 1969 and 1970) won three national titles (1969, 1970 and 1971) and a Liga Cup (1975) with the Rouches.
