Gonzalo Sosa reveals a referee’s offense: “We stole Las Malvinas from you”

The last weeks of Chilean football have been marked by controversies involving the referee. And now it was Gonzalo Sosa, Argentine striker for Deportes Melipilla, who announced an offense he received from a judge.

In that sense, the trans-Andean, who is one of the tournament’s scorers, revealed that when he played in First B, he experienced an unusual situation.

“Let’s start from the premise that we can all make mistakes. We and not to mention the referees, who have to administer justice. Starting from there, what was straining the relationship was the lack of respect on both sides. On behalf of the player, as do the referees, ”Sosa told La Tercera.

“Unfortunately, the one who has the power on the pitch is the referee. Then things happen like what happened to this boy from Barnechea. And so many things, “he added.

Later, he said: “A referee told me on the court, because he was demanding a free kick, ‘shut up, we stole Las Malvinas from you.’ With that I give you an idea that the lack of respect is mutual ”.

Finally, Sosa said that the “referee is just another colleague, who is on the pitch, doing his job and, well, we have to try to make it easier for him.”
