In January, the Washington Wizards team terminated their contract with 25-year-old Paschnik.
In November, the Wizards decided to keep Pasečnik until February 1, with a salary of 350,000 US dollars. During this time, he failed to solidify his team, going to the field in only one regular championship game.
Pasečnik made his NBA debut last season, spending an average of 16 minutes on 27 pitches, scoring 5.8 points and bouncing 4.0 rebounds.
Last year, the Wizards signed a three-year contract with Paschnik, but before that he had a two-way contract.
Orlando “Magic” was selected in the first round of the NBA’s new player draft Paschnik in 2017 with the total number 25, which immediately replaced him with the Philadelphia “76ers”. Last summer, the Philadelphia Club withdrew from Pasechnik.
Before going to the NBA, Paschnik spent four seasons with the Spanish team at Herbalife in Gran Canaria.
Meanwhile, defender Rihards Lomažs has given up playing in the summer league because he is with the national team in preparation for the 2023 World Cup pre-qualification.
The NBA Summer League will begin on Sunday.
