Houston – Basketball player Daniel Theis is about to move to the Houston Rockets in the NBA. The 29-year-old center had agreed on a four-year contract with the Texan team, reported ESPN, citing its agents.
Theis had been sent to the Chicago Bulls by the Boston Celtics last season and was without a contract after the end of the season.
In addition to Theis, four German professionals who last played in the NBA can currently negotiate a contract as so-called free agents: The most prominent national player is Dennis Schröder, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers. This also applies to Moritz Wagner and Isaac Bonga, who were eliminated with the German team at the Olympics in Tokyo, as well as Isaiah Hartenstein.
