KFC: Four men abroad – eight men are still available

The KFC Uerdingen has lost the entire team after relegation to the third division and the financial worries. Four men have found their new clubs abroad.

The 2020/2021 third division squad comprised 25 men KFC Uerdingen. All 25 players said goodbye to Krefeld this summer. Jan Kirchhoff ended his career, Leon Schneider returned to 1. FC Köln after the loan.

All the other 23 players started looking for a club. 15 people found what they were looking for, eight men are still looking for new clubs. An overview:

Kolja Pusch: The midfielder remains in the 3rd division and runs for MSV Duisburg.

Christian Dorda: Last season’s vice-captain has joined the ambitious top division club SSVg Velbert as a playing assistant coach.

Adriano Grimaldi: He also stays in the 3rd league and is chasing goals for 1. FC Saarbrücken.

Dave Gnaase: For the central midfielder, Adriano Grimaldi continues in one team: at 1. FC Saarbrücken.

Fridolin Wagner: Third division Waldhof Mannheim struck and signed Wagner.

Christian Kinsombi: The winger even continues in the 2nd Bundesliga: at SV Sandhausen.

Muhammed Kiprit: The offensive player has joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Gino Fechner: He was spoiled for choice: half of the third division wanted him. Fechner decided on the SV Wehen Wiesbaden.

Patrick Goebel: He was drawn back to FSV Zwickau.

Omar Haktab Traore: VfL Osnabrück secured the services of the full-back.

Peter van Ooijen: The left winger returned to his home in the Netherlands for second division club FC Emmen. In the 3-0 test match victory over Rot-Weiss Essen, he scored a remarkable free-kick goal.

Hidde Jurjus: The goalkeeper also went back to the Netherlands. He will soon face Van Ooijens Emmen with De Graafschap in the league.

Rijad Kobiljar: He signed an employment contract with FK Sarajevo in his Bosnian homeland.

Gustav Marcussen: He also went back home: to Denmark to Silkeborg IF.

Julius Paris: The goalkeeper will play for SV Straelen in the future.

Still looking for a club are: Dominic Maroh, Lukas Königshofer, Osayamen Osawe, Assani Lukimya, Hans Anapak, Edvinas Girdvainis, Mike Feigenspan, Tim Albutat.
