The firefighters of the Teruel Provincial Council collaborated last night with the Local Police of Teruel to facilitate the departure of users from the Tennis Club and the La Moratilla sports center of the Teruel capital, who could not leave these facilities with their vehicles, after the flooding of the Turia river caused the flooding of the La Moratilla road.
The Teruel Park firefighters, an officer and four firefighters with two vehicles, traveled to the place to monitor the passage of people crossing the train track, as the usual passage under the tracks is impossible. The fire service ended around 11 p.m.
The firefighters also had a warning due to fire on the Cabra de Mora road, near the urban nucleus, after lightning struck in a pine forest. When they went to the place, together with the volunteer from Mora de Rubielos, they found that the rain that fell after the storm had extinguished the fire.
