DARMSTADT – The Darmstadt Whippets have to wait for the fourth win of the season in the second baseball league south / west. The South Hesse lost to the Saarlouis Hornets with 1:12 and 4:11. With a record of three wins and 17 defeats, the Darmstadt team are bottom of the table. “I don’t know if we’re not used to the long drives, but after the first run in game one, nothing went on for us. We made too many mistakes in defense, so even the good pitching didn’t help much.” said the Darmstadt defense coach Tobi Naggatz. His team allowed the hosts a total of five home runs.
