Thirty-five-year-old midfielder Silva played for Manchester from 2010 to 2020. The same old Kompany worked in the City from 2008 to 2019, he held the position of captain for eight seasons. With the English team, both won the Premier League four times and the English Cup twice.

Agüero, two years younger, scored 260 competition goals in the club’s ten years (2011 to 2021). He is fourth in the history of Premier League gunners. The Argentine national team won the “Citizens” even five titles and one English Cup.

“The decision to reward these players is based on their extraordinary contribution to the transformation of the club for which they have played together for 31 years,” Manchester said in a statement.

Silva now works in San Sebastian, Agüero in Barcelona. A year ago, Kompany ended his playing career in the Anderlecht jersey of Brussels and became its coach.
