Isaiah Hartenstein allegedly on the Brooklyn Nets and LA Clippers list

Isaiah Hartenstein is still looking for a new team. The unrestricted free agent recently completed a workout in front of several interested parties – apparently including the Nets, Cavs, Clippers and Thunder.

This is what Chris Fedor reports from cleveland.com. Accordingly, the German big had already completed the workout in Las Vegas last Friday. At least one representative from each of the teams mentioned should have been on site.

Assistant General Manager Mike Gansey is said to have attended the workout of the Cavs, for whom Hartenstein played after his midseason trade from the nuggets in the last 16 games last season. The door is still open for a return from Hartenstein to Cleveland, said Fedor.

With the Brooklyn Nets and LA Clippers, two top teams apparently have their eyes on the 23-year-old Big Man. Both teams could use additional support in the front court, including the Nets, who are considered favorites for the title. But he won’t be able to wait for many minutes there, in Oklahoma City meanwhile more playing time could be lost for Hartenstein.

After his trade from the Nuggets, the 2.13-meter man in the Cavs jersey knew how to fall out of the field with 8.3 points and 6 rebounds per game at 58.2 percent. He then turned down a player option for the coming season and became a free agent. Hartenstein is apparently looking for more security and a longer-term deal.
