What happened?
Goretzka and Pavard headed at the same time in the final game of the 90-minute unit. Pavard hit his Bayern colleague with the right knee. Goretzka went down.
The German international was in pain immediately, holding his left knee!
Nagelsmann hurried over. At first the trainer laughed, but after inquiring, his expression was more serious. Goretzka couldn’t get up at first.

Goretzka still had to do extra sprints over 60 meters – with the returnees Thomas Müller (31) and Joshua Kimmich (26 / joined on Monday after special leave) as well as the EM stars Leroy Sané (25) and Robert Lewandowski (32) . After the extra sprints, Goretzka was running reasonably well again.
Hope for Nagelsmann that his midfield star will not be canceled for the first round of the cup at Bremer SV on Friday (8.45 p.m. / Sky and Sport1)!
