Victorious against AS Saint-Étienne (3-1) on Saturday night, the Olympians found a molten Velodrome stadium. Nearly 55,000 spectators gathered to encourage OM players.
The atmosphere was once again electric at the Vélodrome. Saturday evening, during the reception of AS Saint-Étienne, 55,039 spectators were present to encourage OM. After Villarreal and Bordeaux, it was the third match at the Vélodrome since the stadiums closed in March 2020. Players and supporters, everyone was present to make this evening a wonderful evening.
Indeed, Olympique de Marseille won 3-1 thanks to goals of Matteo Guendouzi, Gerson and Cengiz Ünder. Tifos, smoke and chants throughout the meeting, we found the Velodrome stadium of great evenings. A high level atmosphere appreciated by many players of the team as well as Jorge Sampaoli.
