Football – Champions League: Olympiakos and Valbuena ensure, Celtic takes the door

It goes for Mathieu Valbuena’s Olympiakos. Winner at home (1-0) against Neftchi Baku last week, Olympiakos secured their qualification, again on the smallest of margins. Already decisive in the first leg, Mathieu Valbuena provided an assist for Giorgos Masouras, the only scorer of the match (1-0, 15th).

For its part, PSV Eidhoven did not tremble against Galatasaray by winning 2-1 after the slap inflicted (5-1) at home against the Turkish club in the first leg. It was more undecided on the side of Denmark since Midtjylland, who had reached the group stages of the competition for the first time last season, took the upper hand over Celtic Glasgow in extra time (2-1 ap), thanks in particular to a goal from Raphael Nwadike (94th).
