Cabal and Farah fell in the Wimbledon quarterfinals

Colombians Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah yielded in the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon tournament against the pair formed by the American Rajeev Ram and the British Joe Salisbury by 6-3, 6-4 and 7-6 (2).

Cabal and Farah thus gave in in their attempt to defend the title they won on these same courts in 2019, while Ram and Salisbury are looking for their second Grand Slam, after the one they achieved in 2020 at the Australian Open.

The American and the British will face the Croats Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic in the semifinals.

After 2 years and 45 days Cabal and Farah will not be part of the Top 5 of the world ranking.
