WIMBLEDON, United Kingdom – Félix Auger-Aliassime advanced to the fourth round at Wimbledon following the withdrawal of Nick Kyrgios after two sets on Saturday.

The Quebecer and the Australian had each won a set – Kyrgios the first 6-2, Auger-Aliassime the second, 6-1.

Kyrgios then canceled, too bored on the left side to continue.

Kyrgios dominated the first set, collecting three breakages.

He took a 4-1 lead with the second of it, when the Canadian was handcuffed by a ball hitting the net.

A break via passing gave Kyrgios a 5-2 lead, then the latter went 6-2 with his third set point (a return too deep).

In the second set, Auger-Aliassime shut out his rival in the fifth game, taking a 4-1 lead. The Quebecer added his third breakage of the game, before winning the next game to zero.

Auger-Aliassime is the 16th seed.

In the fourth round, he will play against Taylor Fritz or Alexander Zverev, the fourth headliner.
