BOLU YOUTH IN THE FINAL

Young people from Bolu made their mark among the Ankara finalists of Redbull Halfcourt, the world’s largest 3X3 basketball organization.

16 teams competed in the Ankara leg of the Redbull Halfcourt Turkey stage. Four teams from among these 16 teams qualified for the Turkish finals. After the contentious matches; Vamos, Tarhana Gangs, Sportive Manisa and Goca Bolulus made their mark in the Turkish finals. The team that won the Turkish finals will represent their country by winning the ticket to Russia, the country where the World Championship will be played.

THEY SUCCESSFULLY REPRESENT BOLU

The ‘Goca Bolulular’ 3X3 basketball team, consisting of young people from Bolu, started their tournament adventure as champions in the tournament held in Izmit. With the wind of success behind them, Goca Bolulus will be successful in the Ankara stage of Redbull Halfcourt and will sweat to win the Russia ticket in the Turkish finals to be held in Izmir. Goca Bolulular, the only unassisted finalist who successfully completed this stage, diverted their sails towards Izmir.

THE WORLD’S LARGEST 3X3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Redbull Halfcourt, the biggest organization of 3X3 Basketball, which is accepted as an Olympic sport, will organize the Turkish finals in İzmir this year. All over the world, tournaments continue simultaneously internationally to determine the finalists of the World finals, which will be held in Russia.

The rules of the tournament are as follows: 3X3 Basketball is played with teams of 3 on the half court. The team leading the score within 10 minutes or the first team to reach 21 points wins the match. Teams consist of 3 aces and a reserve athlete.
