Transfers – Ligue 1: Camavinga moves away from Rennes, Paris on the lookout

Paris Saint-Germain do not intend to be unemployed on the transfer market. Before resuming training in early July, the capital club have already registered the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum, and should soon formalize the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian doorman, who plays Euro 2020 with Squadra Azzurra, has already passed his medical examination with PSG.

And in the middle of the field, Paris does not intend to stop at the arrival of Wijnaldum. According to West France, PSG is, as for many weeks, interested in Eduardo Camavinga. The regional daily even claims that the winner of the last French Cup is “in pole position” to accommodate the midfielder. Leonardo, the sporting director of PSG, started discussions with Rennes last May.

According to West France, Eduardo Camavinga is not expected to extend his contract with Stade Rennais. The midfielder is said to have too high salary demands, which would chill Rennes in the negotiations. At the end of the contract in June 2022, the young French international can engage freely from next January. An option that Stade Rennais is not considering, which should therefore seek to sell it this summer.
