The Comodor archer Gabriel Rivas qualified for the Archery World Cup to be held in Slovenia, from September 29 to October 6, and will be accompanied by the Comodoro Deportes Autárquico Entidad.
Rivas is also a leader and representative of the Petrochemical team, and for the World Cup event he will have the support of the municipal State through Comodoro Deportes.
The goalkeeper, along with members of the Petrochemical board of directors, held a meeting with Hernán Martínez, president of Comodoro Deportes.
“The main thing that was discussed was the topic of the World Cup, the commitment that Comodoro Deportes made so that he can travel, because the expenses are many, and Hernán (Martínez) gave us that peace of mind. We will sit down to work to see how we can cover these expenses,” commented Gabriel Rivas, regarding the meeting with the sports portfolio leader.
“We are working hard to arrive well, and to represent Comodoro, the province and the country in the best way,” said the Comodoro native, about his expectations for the World Cup event.
At the same time, the Petrochemical Archery Club will host the National Field Games Final in November: “We talked about this topic, because it will be the first National final in Comodoro and we want people who come from all over the country to take home a nice memory,” he said.
