The choir left nothing to chance on the way to winning and moving to the top of the table from the beginning. After only 36 seconds of play, Něstěrov opened the score. When Galimov added a second goal in the 5th minute with the help of the defending Belarusians, the match for the goalkeeper Shostak ended, who was replaced by Kolosov as in the previous duel with Switzerland.

But even he did not keep a clean shield for long. Although he managed with a hard shot from Provorov, in the middle of the first period he was overtaken by Shalunov and Grigorenko. In the 17th minute, after a quick counterattack, Něstěrov prevailed for the second time and the match was decided.

The Russians could cut the gas and save forces for the quarterfinals. While in the opening twenty minutes they fired 17 shots at the Belarusian goalkeeper, in the second only four. And they had two power play games. Even his counterpart Samonov had more work to do than Kolosov.

The Germans defended the advance for themselves and for Canada. Latvia is crying

The image of the game did not change even in the third part, in which the Belarusians defended three weaknesses, but still collected once again.
