Sunday’s Millican High CIF-SS Division 3 Baseball Champion won the 7th seed in Division II of the CIFS Cal Regional.

According to Daily Breeze, Rams said goodbye to the first round after announcing that second-seeded San Pedro would opt out because he tested positive for COVID-19 in the program.

Thursday’s Millican (24-4) will move to the 3rd Madera or 6th Camarillo in the semi-finals.

The championship game will be on Saturday.

Last Friday Rams beat Arlington 2-0 in the Division 3 Championship Game at Blair Field in Long Beach.

In softball, Los Alamitos took first place seed in Division I after losing in the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

According to the Orange County Register, many of the top teams in Division 1 and Division 2 in the Southern section have opted out of the SoCal Regional. The uninvolved team includes finalists from two divisions. Esperanza is Division 1 Champion and Villa Park is Division 2 Champion.
