Turkey National Team confirmed to be the next team to be eliminated from the title Euro 2020 (Euro 2021).
Turkey lost again in the match against Switzerland. In the duel, Turkey fell with a score of 1-3.
The defeat to Switzerland made Turkey end its journey at Euro 2020 (Euro 2021) with the status as bottom of Group A. Not only that, Turkey was also only able to score one goal and conceded eight goals.
This result is certainly disappointing for Turkey, which is expected to become a dark horse team at Euro 2020. The squad consisting of star players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Burak Yilmaz, and Merih Demiral actually had to go home with three crushing defeats in hand.
Turkey also followed North Macedonia’s move, which had already been confirmed. North Macedonia lost to Austria with a score of 1-3 and fell at the hands of Ukraine by a narrow score of 1-2.

Because of this result, North Macedonia did not have a chance to move up to third place, despite winning against the Netherlands in the last match, because they lost head to head against both Austria and Ukraine.
A total of eight teams will be eliminated from the group stage with details of six caretaker teams and two third-placed teams.
