Japan dominates round of judo World Cup

Budapest, (Prensa Latina) .- Japan today won two gold medals in the men’s 66 kilogram and women’s 52 kilogram divisions, with which they dominated the second round of the Judo World Cup in Hungary.

The Japanese Aí Shishime defeated the Spanish Ana Pérez in the final and won the title in the women’s 52 kilograms (kg) division, a category where the Swiss Fabienne Kocher and the Israeli Gefen Primo won the tanned medals.

Âá Among the men, the 66 kg division saw Yoshiro Maruyama, from the Land of the Rising Sun crowned with victory in the final against the Italian Manuel Lombardo, while Bashkuu Yondonperenlei from Mongolia and Yakub Shamilov each obtained bronze metals.

Japan leads the medal table after the first two dates with three gold titles and one silver, followed by Russia with one gold and one bronze, while Spain appears for third place with one silver and two third places.
